SEATTLE + Life Update

Hi, hello! It's been a while but I've been craving a creative outlet that doesn't require eating a ton of calories (hi, baking), so I'm going to start writing in this blog again regularly. It's been a creative outlet/journal for me for the past 5 years. Obviously you can see I was super gung-ho in 2015, then tapered off. But I'm BACK.

I know a lot of you have been asking if we moved! So here's a life update:
After the shutdown in New York, Alex and I decided to come temporarily to Seattle where I grew up. Things were still pretty closed in the city when we left at the end of May. We hadn't taken the subway in almost 3 months, were stuck in a 600 sq ft apartment for too long, my job was up in the air because dental offices still didn't know when they were opening up, Alex just graduated, and his new job doesn't start until September. SO we thought why not get some more space and nature for a few months?! And it's been so great! We've been adventuring as much as we can but are also in a groove. I've been working at two dental offices Mon-Thurs and Alex has been doing work from home for a start-up while watching Cooper! And Cooper has been doing his thing--eating, sleeping, playing, learning, being a little stinker. It's been a great balance for all of us!

We don't know exactly how long we'll be here. First we said end of the summer, but it's looking more like the fall/winter. I don't think Alex's office will be open for quite some time, plus he'll be traveling for work--which who knows when that will happen. He went out to New York last week to put our stuff into storage but we hope to get back to NYC sooner rather than later. We're happy wherever we are and are making the most of the situation!

Now here's a Seattle photo dump because I know that's what you all want to see.
Pike Place, hiking, berry-picking, beach time, seeing best friends and family...it's been lovely!

^^That last pic. IYKYK!!
Love Seattle and excited for more adventures here!

xoxo,
kay
